Matthew Curry Studios builds on Curry’s 25-year career as an art director, designer, and visual storyteller working across pop culture, multinational corporations, nonprofits, and small businesses. Based in Washington, D.C., the studio reflects Curry’s longstanding commitment to collaboration and cross-disciplinary thinking—an approach that has guided projects with Sheryl Crow, Jeff Koons, and a wide array of global clients. With experience spanning print, interactive media, branding, video, and animation, Curry is as comfortable presenting in boardrooms with stakeholders as he is exhibiting work in galleries and cultural institutions. His practice specializes in visual storytelling, collaborative problem-solving, and creating design systems that translate seamlessly across mediums and audiences.
Biography
Matthew Curry is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and art director whose practice operates at the intersection of fine art and graphic design. Grounded in an iterative process that bridges analog and digital methodologies, his work explores the evolution of visual language within contemporary culture. Recognized with multiple awards and two Grammy® nominations, Curry’s practice encompasses both commercial and independent modes of production, including permanent public installations and international exhibitions. His work reflects a sustained engagement with materiality, form, and communication—an ongoing inquiry into how image-making functions across aesthetic, technological, and cultural systems.
