Chimera
Washington, D.C.
2024-2025
The title of the series references the mythological chimera: a creature composed of incongruous parts. In this context, it points to the hybridity at the core of the work—between analog and digital, past and present, memory and invention. These are not merely digital reinterpretations, but entirely new works that carry the residue of what came before.
Ultimately, Chimera reflects my ongoing interest in the instability of form and the evolving relationship between material and tool, hand and interface. It is an exploration of transformation—not only of image, but of process itself.
